The certification for GITI Tire (UK) Ltd. applies to the supply of truck and bus tyres to the UK market.

ISO 9001:2008 is recognised worldwide and It requires organisations to demonstrate that they have a quality management system to ensure consistency and continuous improvement leading to higher levels of performance and customer satisfaction.

General Manager Richard Lyons said, "We are particularly pleased to have achieved ISO 9001:2008 certification as it underlines our commitment to our customers and our focus on quality. This recognition demonstrates we can provide a quality product from quotation through to delivery.

This achievement was a direct result of my team both at head office and out in the field working together effectively to develop and maintain the excellent quality standards we have in place to achieve customer satisfaction, and continuous improvement of our internal processes

Manchester based GITI Tire (UK) Ltd has successfully achieved registration to the internationally recognised internal quality management standard ISO 9001:2008.

The revised ISO 9001 has a much greater focus on the management and measurement of business processes and their continuous improvement.

This independent assessment was conducted by The British Assessment Bureau (BAB), and clearly demonstrates GITI Tire's commitment to customer service and quality. GITI Tire (UK) Ltd. has now earned the right to display the coveted BAB logo to show conformity to the standard.
